The production team Grey October Sound, who have made a name for themselves not only in Japan but also overseas with their releases of Ghibli cover albums such as "Lo-Fi Ghibli," have released their second Ghibli cover album, "Lo-Fi Ghibli 2," on a limited edition vinyl record with obi strip!
Grey October Sound is a lo-fi hip-hop production team that has gained attention not only in Japan but also overseas with the release of high-quality lo-fi hip-hop compilations such as "Timeless" and "The Cave," covers of Ghibli masterpieces, "Lo-Fi Ghibli," covers of city pop masterpieces and popular songs, and "Lo-Fi Anime," covers of popular Japanese anime songs. The long-awaited second installment of Ghibli song covers, "Lo-Fi Ghibli 2," will be released on vinyl with obi and limited press!
This time, the album covers famous Ghibli songs such as "Legend of the Wind" (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind), "Sheta Determination" (Laputa: Castle in the Sky), "My Neighbor Totoro" (My Neighbor Totoro), and "Rouge no Dengon" (Kiki Delivery Service) with a comfortable lo-fi hip-hop sound! The visual images for the jacket and other artworks were created by illustrator Rika Nagatani, who also worked on "Lo-fi Ghibli".
