夢遊病者不斷擴張他們的世界觀與組成，《Skopofoboexoskelett》加入了四個不同視覺學術領域的藝術家，共同參與“Exquisite Corpse”般的超現實主義接力遊戲，製作這張無法輕易被定義風格的專輯。
Expanding on the themes established by the previous 夢遊病者 (Sleepwalker) releases, the new work Skopofoboexoskelett focuses on the notion of self-reflection, intuition and the outward and inner manifestations of phobia as they relate within that singular world.
The concept of the evil eye—it is historical, cultural, physical and metaphysical, as well as psychological affects are carefully unraveled and revealed; what is luck and what is failure—and can one protect or arm thyself against its elements?
As the vision and scope of the 夢遊病者 world grows, so do the players. Four artists from four different visual disciplines were commissioned to contribute to the exquisite corpse exercise, working in closed silos—instinct and album as soundtrack driving their decisions—to later be combined into a coalesced final artwork. Musicians from Paxia, Starkweather, Cryptae, Abstracter, Locust Leaves and Pyrrhon as well as friends, were kind enough to supply vocals, while a multitude of classical, jazz and folk performers enriched the songs with their respective flavors. We are forever humbled and thankful to them—and our ability to present this album to you.
