The Metaphor is a post-rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They currently have 2 releases on their account:

They were one of the nominees for VIMA Awards on the category of Best Instrumental/World Music on 2011 with the song "Rebirth".
Formed on year 2010, the band consists of:
- Tomas Tam on guitar, leader of the band.
- Sze Yee on guitar
- Kelvin Hew on bass
- Ling, Lee on keyboard/piano
- Izzy Musa on drums/percussions
Also:
- Anthony Lee as stage manager & sound engineer
- Sei Kan as stage coordinator/ drum technician
The band have toured China, Taiwan and they have shared stages with international acts like; LITE (JP), OVUM (JP), Origin (US). They have also captured radio stations attention and being featured on Traxx FM, BFM and KOOP (US). Magazines like MINT, TIS, TimeOutKL, and FHM have also written album reviews and articles about the band.
