Tsan Mei Chi—a steadily-expanding gospel band competition conducted with the highest quality standards among Chinese churches
Submission of band entries starts every spring, with general and elimination rounds held in summer, followed by five months of training for the finalists.
With a well-structured curriculum and outstanding teachers, the organizer provides the finalist bands with substantial and remedial instructions, which enable every band to push their limits and constantly surpass themselves. Through the teachers’ meticulous tutoring and the producer’s high-standard quality control, a superlative album is recorded in the studio during the training sessions with the collaborative effort of all the finalist bands.
After the training program comes the highlight of the competition—the final. That same day the collaborative album is officially released as well.
The platform of Tsan Mei Chi aims to facilitate the production of original gospel songs, and to promote communication among gospel bands through observing and learning from one another. Ultimately, Tsan Mei Chi hopes to empower the influence of gospel music, and become a channel of blessings for this generation!
